*** This ivory tower is not actually the one from Fantasia; it is a beacon in another world. There are other towers there, hopefully you'll see more of them soon.
The idea of the ivory tower predates Neverending story by many eons, going back to the earliest reference in the Song of Solomon (7:4, to be precise). In the world you see here, the ivory tower represents sanctuary and hope.***

its a new spin on what you are used to, it brings out the wonder of a child while appealing to the inner one.
i adore the softness and blending of the colours.. a new begining.

i just cant stop gazing at it, i want to see what lies within!

It's not that I don't like the drawing. At the contrary, it tickles my imagination, just like you. But the manga-like colors are annoying.

I really like how soft the green for the grass is, and how the windows look like stained glass now that it's colored. The colored picture reminds me of Le Petit Prince. Congratulations on such a successful colaboration.
