Artist's Comments
Aleksey Leonov, the first human to walk in space, on March 18, 1965.
This was painted on a 2' x 5' canvas, and with the size I could not capture enough detail with one shot. Taking multiple shots and stitching them together was the only alternative, so the color representation is not 100% accurate, although it is as close as I can make it. |
